Thanks to the generosity of many volunteers who donated their time; to the entertainers who shared their talents; to the folks who provided wonderful items to the auction, white elephant, books, plants, gourmet food, bingo, jewelry, art, baked goods, and toy booths; to the artists who participated in the arts & crafts show; and to all who showed up and spent generously – the 69th annual Grace Cottage Hospital Fair Day grossed nearly $75,000 which is more than the previous three years. Invoices are still coming in for the many expenses involved so organizers won’t have a net total for a few weeks, but it will certainly amount to a substantial contribution to the non-profit healthcare center.
In addition, Fair Day once again reached its goal of bringing friends, neighbors and visitors together to celebrate Grace Cottage Hospital’s special place in the community and in the hearts of those it serves.
