Professional:
Lee Morissette joined the Grace Cottage Hospital Emergency Department staff in 2020. He has been practicing Emergency Medicine in rural critical access hospitals like Grace Cottage since 2007 in Maine, Wisconsin, and Vermont.
Prior to becoming a PA, Morissette served 25 years active duty in the U.S. Navy, serving in many operational assignments in the Navy and Marine Corps, achieving the rank of Master Chief Hospital Corpsman/E9 and Command Master Chief. Additionally, he has 40 years’ experience as a firefighter/paramedic, mainly serving rural areas.

He is an American Hospital Association Instructor for Basic Life Support, Advanced Cardiac Life Support, and Pediatric Advanced Life Support courses and an instructor for the Comprehensive Advanced Life Support Course, which focuses on management of trauma in rural hospitals. Additionally, Morissette is the only instructor in New England for the Accident Scene Management Course, which is for the on-scene management of motorcyclists who are injured.

Personal:
Morissette lives in Springfield, VT, with his wife, Dr. Sabina Morissette, a geriatrician. They enjoy traveling globally whenever possible and of course visiting their grandchildren on both east and west coasts. They also enjoy target shooting and enjoy the beautiful and scenic winding roads of New England on their motorcycle whenever possible. Morissette is a member of the Vermont Patriot Guard, Red Knights, and Vermont Thunder motorcycle organizations, supporting military members, veterans, and firefighters/EMS personnel. He also is a member of Veterans No Boundaries, proving medical support to veterans with various injuries.
