Jocelyne Smith, CAC, has joined Grace Cottage Family Health & Hospital as a full-time Patient Resource Advocate, a position she previously held at Brattleboro Memorial Hospital. Jocelyne is available to help patients estimate upcoming medical expenses at Grace Cottage, set up payment plans, and help eligible patients apply for free or reduced fee care. As a Certified Application Counselor, Jocelyne assists community members in obtaining or maintaining health insurance through Vermont Health Connect and discovering what Medicare D Plan might be best for them. She can also offer assistance in finding government programs for help with food, heating, fuel, and housing expenses.
