Dr. Woodard has been serving as a nurse practitioner since 2014, working in rural clinics, multispecialty primary care, and emergency medicine. Growing up rural, Benjamin has maintained a keen interest in the unique healthcare needs of rural and remote communities, and focused his research in graduate school on best practices for training remote providers in advanced procedures. He enjoys teaching remote practice skills in emergency and wilderness medicine here and abroad.

When not working, you can find Woodard on his farm raising bees, woodworking, or in the woods, on a river, up a mountain, trail running, and fly-fishing.
