Andrew Semegram joined Grace Cottage Hospital in 2011, first as a Registered Nurse in the inpatient unit and then the Emergency Department. He obtained his Advance Practice certification and master’s degree in 2017, and now works in two capacities, both as a member of the Emergency Department provider rotation, as well as a Hospitalist caring for the admitted hospital inpatients.
Before becoming a nurse, Semegram worked as a technical writer and project manager. His first undergraduate degree is a Bachelor of Music in Opera Performance, and he sang professionally in the NY/NJ region as well as in southern Vermont.
Semegram grew up in northern New Jersey and moved to Vermont in the early 2000s. He and his partner, Matthew, now live in Bellows Falls with their greyhound, Jarndyce. Semegram spends his rare free time gardening, knitting, cycling, board-gaming, and occasionally still singing.
