CT/RADIOLOGY TECHNOLOGISTS: PER DIEM

AART and a VT State License, CT Certification preferred.

Wide range of experience and competency, be self-directed and able to work independently, while providing high quality CT and Radiographic studies. Greet patients, review physician orders and enter necessary data into computer system. Maintain confidentiality and adhere to strict policies and procedures while treating patients with care.

CT/RADIOLOGY TECHNOLOGIST

Our Imaging Department currently has an opening for a CT/Radiology Technologist. The schedule is 32 hours per week plus off shift/weekend “on call” hours.

Job Summary: Employee will plan, organize, and accomplish activities in the Imaging Department according to hospital policies, standards of practice of the profession, and state and federal law. Possess the ability to work independently and as part of a team, providing high quality CT and Radiographic studies. Review physician orders and exercise great attention to detail. Actively participate in quality improvement projects within the department. Maintain confidentiality at all times and adhere to strict policies and procedures.

Requirements: Working knowledge of PACS; CT Certification; ARRT; VT State License; BLS certified; ability to collaborate with clinical support staff, physicians and other health care professionals as part of a team-based, patient-centered care approach.

RN – EMERGENCY DEPARTMENT

24 hours/week
Rotate 7am-7pm with 7pm-7am to include weekend and holiday rotation

Job Responsibilities: Primary ED nurse in a small rural Emergency Department with average of 3000 visits/year. Responsibilities include patient triage and initial assessment; implementation of ED provider’s orders with reassessment and evaluation of patient’s response to treatment and interventions; and discharge care teaching.

Requirements: Graduate of an accredited school of nursing. Current Vermont RN license in good standing. Emergency Department nursing experience required. Current BLS, ACLS PALS and/or ENPC certifications required. TNCC certification to be obtained within 1 year of hire. Computer skills and familiarity with using an electronic medical record essential. LICENSED NURSING ASSISTANTS – PER DIEM

Grace Cottage Hospital has an immediate need for per diem employees for our Inpatient Care unit. Positions can cover all shifts. Duties include assisting hospitalized patients with activities of daily living and providing basic nursing care as directed and supervised by a registered nurse.

Requirements: Current Vermont licensure as a nursing assistant; minimum of 1 year experience as an LNA in a Nursing Home or Hospital setting; excellent communication and customer service skills. Experience working with an electronic health record preferred. Successful candidate will be flexible in hours and shifts needed.

DIETARY AID – PART TIME

Job Responsibilities: Performs a variety of food service duties which include and not limited to:
preparing and serving meals to patients, staff and visitors, maintains the care and cleanliness of the kitchen and provides assistance to the Department Head in any way possible. Responsible for patient’s initial dietary visit and understanding the importance of following special diets ordered by physicians, speech therapist or registered dietitian. Also is responsible for the clean-up of the kitchen at the end of the day which includes sweeping and mopping all of the floors.

Requirements: Previous kitchen and Food prep experience preferred; understanding of how kitchen runs; comfortable entering patient rooms. Able to work in a close environment with others and also being comfortable working alone. Some knowledge of infection control practices helpful. Excellent customer service skills. Ability to maintain confidentiality.

Shift:
Every other weekend 11 am – 7:30 pm
Every Monday 11:00 am – 7:30 pm
Every other Thursday 11:00 am- 7:30 pm
Also fill in during vacations and days off if and when available
